Strip club explodes in Las Vegas

An apparent explosion lit up the Las Vegas Strip early Saturday morning outside the Aria Resort and Casino, leaving two palm trees engulfed in flames, according to eyewitnesses. Videos shared on social media captured the fiery scene, with onlookers describing the incident as an "explosion."   One witness reported hearing a thunderous bang followed by a suspicious car speeding away, while another described the noise as sounding like a "bomb."   The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) and Clark County Fire Department quickly responded to the scene and successfully extinguished the fire.   LVMPD later released a statement saying an occupant in a vehicle threw fireworks, which caused one of the trees to catch fire. No injuries have been reported in connection with the incident.

Tinubu join Obasa, Meranda, and other Lagos Assembly members in Aso Rock

 Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Mudashiru Obasa, led his colleagues to a meeting with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the Presidential Villa in Abuja on Wednesday, March 12.    Obasa and the lawmakers arrived at the villa in two coaster buses around 3 p.m. The meeting is believed to be linked to the leadership cMinto rooms where the greeting is: “Good morning, sirs” and I’m standing right there - Bella Adenuga-Disu shares experience with workplace bias. Meranda had been elected after a majority of lawmakers impeached Obasa on January 13, 2025. However, following the intervention of the Governing Advisory Council (GAC) and key stakeholders of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Obasa was reinstated on March 3, 2025.
