Filled with landmines - Linc Edochie writes as he distances himself from wife Yinka's decision to share May Edochie's mobile phone number online


Nollywood actor, Linc Edochie has publicly distanced himself from his wife Yinka's recent actions of sharing his younger brother's estranged wife, May Edochie's phone number online. 

 

Over the weekend, Yinka, who has been in conflict with May's fans, posted her number while accusing May of giving her (Yinka's) phone number to her supporters, who she claims have been calling to insult her.

This morning, Linc took to social media to clarify his stance regarding the situation. He stated that he is a man of peace and does not support the attacks on May or the act of sharing her number online.

‘’We may not all agree with each other but we can respect one another…Better to be alone and at peace than to be in a union filled with landmines. Respect.''

The United Kingdom's Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) has advised its citizen to avoid travel to several parts of Nigeria, citing concerns over terrorism, violent crime, kidnappings and intercommunal clashes.   This was contained in a latest Foreign Travel Advice released on GOV.UK on Sunday, November 9, 2025.    In the latest advisory, the FCDO said "insecurity is increasing across Nigeria. Real Madrid have reportedly informed Liverpool that they have “no interest” in signing Ibrahima Konaté, despite widespread speculation linking the France international to the Spanish giants as his contract winds down. Russian President, Vladimir Putin has insisted that Moscow will take control of Ukraine’s Donbas region “by military or other means,” reaffirming one of the Kremlin’s core demands as Ukrainian officials prepare for another round of peace discussions with the United States. Senate proposes single nationwide toll free emergency number

The Senate has moved a step closer to reforming Nigeria’s emergency response system with the consideration of a bill seeking to establish a single, toll-free national emergency number for all citizens. The proposed legislation, titled A Bill for an Act to Establish the National Emergency Toll Service (NETS), scaled second reading during plenary on Tuesday.   Sponsor of the bill, Senator Abdulaziz Musa Yar’Adua (APC, Katsina Central), said the intention is to replace Nigeria’s multiple emergency helplines with one unified three-digit number, likely “112,” depending on recommendations from the public hearing.
