Chelsea defeats Paris Saint-Germain 3-0 to win the first edition of the expanded FIFA Club World Cup.

Cole Palmer struck twice in the opening half before summer signing Joao Pedro scored his third goal of the tournament to stun PSG, the reigning European champions.

Chelsea’s players received their medals from President Trump, who watched the game at the MetLife Stadium alongside FIFA’s Gianni Infantino.

Chelsea are Club World Cup champions for the second time after they first won the tournament in 2021.

Atalanta are demanding around €50 million for their star winger, Ademola Lookman, amid interest from Serie A champions Napoli. Napoli manager Antonio Conte is reportedly keen on bringing the Nigerian international to Naples this summer. However, the hefty price tag could prove a stumbling block for the deal. According to Football Italia, Napoli consider the fee significant, especially as Lookman, 27, is edging closer to 30 than 25. Pop Diddy's lawyers expect him to be sentenced to about 2-years in prison

Sean "Diddy" Combs' lawyers expect him to get a two-year prison sentence following his conviction on two counts of transportation to engage in pr0stitution, which was handed down on Wednesday, July 2.   The sentence is much less than the 51 to 63 months sentence that prosecutors have recommended.   The two sides addressed Combs' potential sentence in separate letters to the judge overseeing the case.
