“I am a mummy’s boy, big time” British-Nigerian Actor Damson Idris speaks proudly


British-Nigerian actor Damson Idris has openly embraced his identity as a “mummy’s boy,” stating he is no longer ashamed of the label.

 

Speaking in a recent interview with Kiss FM London, the 33-year-old actor expressed deep admiration for his mother, calling her his biggest fan and the reason for his existence.

 

“I am a mummy’s boy. Big time. I am not ashamed to admit it anymore. It used to be kind of like – ‘ah, he’s a mummy’s boy.’ I am actually proud of myself on it,” he said.

 

“She is the one I want to make proud… She is my biggest fan and I’m her biggest fan.”

 

Drawing a connection to a movie character named Joshua, Damson added that he relates to the character’s desire to make his mother proud and hopes to win a “championship” in life in his own way.

Army confirms rescue of 21 kidnapped passengers in Kogi

The Nigerian Army has confirmed the rescue of 21 passengers abducted along the Obajana–Oshokoshoko road in Lokoja Local Government Area of Kogi State. The Acting Assistant Director, Army Public Relations of the 12 Brigade, Lokoja, Lt.
