Rita Edochie replies trolls she is asking May to drop the Yul Edochie’s name


Actress, Rita Edochie, has responded to trolls who have been requesting that her in-law, May, remove her estranged husband, Yul Edochie's name from her social media bio since they are no longer together. 

 

Following their marriage's demise and his subsequent union with fellow actress Judy Austin, Yul and May have been in court, seeking to dissolve their union.

 

May has come under fire from some trolls for continuing to use Yul Edochie's name in her bio. They have requested that she go back to using her maiden name and drop his.

 

In a post shared on her Instagram page this morning, Rita insisted that May will continue to bear Yul-Edochie even if they get divorced.

Mass protests erupt in Israel after Prime Minister Netanyahu fires defence minister for calling for end to controversial judicial overhaul

Tens of thousands of people have taken to the streets across Israel after Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu fired his defence minister Yoav Gallant after speaking against the controversial plans by Netanyahu to overhaul the justice system. In capital city, Jerusalem, police and soldiers used water cannon against demonstrators near Netanyahu's house. The reforms include plans that would give the government decisive control over the committee which appoints judges. Nigeria Census begins 3 May 2025 - Federal Government of Nigeria

The federal government has announced that the National Population and Housing Census will begin on May 3.   A member of the Publicity and Advocacy Committee on 2023 National Population and Housing Census, Dr. Garba Abari, said the three-day exercise would start on May 3 and end on May 5 across the country.   Abari, who is the Director General of the National Orientation Agency (NOA), said the census would capture every person, household and structure for national planning and project execution purposes.   He added that the change in the date was due to the postponement of this year’s governorship and Houses of Assembly elections by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).   Abari said;   “That change by INEC made it mandatory for us to also adjust the date for the conduct of the exercise.
