Ex Big Brother Naija star Tacha begs Aviation Minister Festus Keyamo to reduce the punishment for Ibom Air passenger Comfort

Tacha has joined the growing voices speaking on the incident involving Comfort, the female passenger banned for life by Airline Operators of Nigeria AON.

In a video shared online, the reality TV star said she believes female air hostesses in Nigeria often treat women differently when there’s a male passenger involved, claiming that the air hostess in Comfort’s case may have triggered the situation before things escalated.

Tacha appealed directly to the Minister of Aviation, Festus Keyamo, acknowledging his work in the sector but asking him to “tamper mercy with justice” for Comfort. She said that while another passenger in a similar case previously got a six-month ban, Comfort’s life ban was too extreme.

According to her, the humiliation Comfort has already faced — with her pictures circulating across social media — is punishment enough. She added that the incident has been a lesson for many passengers to switch off their phones before boarding.

“Please sir, give Comfort a lighter sentence,” she pleaded.
