Nigeria and Venezuela to clash in Friendly this November

The Super Eagles of Nigeria will face Venezuela in a friendly match on Friday, November 14, at the Shell Energy Stadium in Houston, Texas, United States.
 


Nigeria last played at the venue on May 31, 2013, when they battled to a 2-2 draw with Mexico in a friendly.
 


Venezuela will also be returning to Houston for the first time since March 24, 2024, when they played Guatemala to a goalless draw.
 


The last meeting between the Super Eagles and La Vinotinto was on November 14, 2012, in Miami, where Nigeria secured a 3-1 victory. Brown Ideye, Nosa Igiebor, and Ogenyi Onazi were on target for the Eagles, while Frank Feltscher scored Venezuela’s consolation goal.
 


Tickets for the upcoming clash will go on exclusive pre-sale on Wednesday, September 10, before being released to the general public on Thursday, September 11.
