New York school employee arrested after she sent nude to 14 years old boy


A now-fired New York school employee has been charged with a felony for allegedly sending nud£s to a 14-year-old boy. 

Anamaria Milazzo, a 22-year-old employee of the Greater Southern Tier Board of Cooperative Educational Services [BOCES], was arrested Monday, June 16, a week after a school resources officer was tipped off that she was sending lewd photos to a minor, according to the Chemung County Sheriff’s Office. 

Milazzo, from Elmira, had been sending the photos to a 14-year-old boy over three months, cops alleged. 

She was charged with second-degree disseminating indecent material to minors in the second degree, a felony, and endangering the welfare of a child, a misdemeanor. 

Despite being charged with a felony, Milazzo was issued a ticket and will appear in the Wellsburg Village Court at a later date, cops said. 

GST BOCES confirmed Milazzo was an employee at a BOCES facility in Chemung County — but would not say when she worked at the school or what her role was, WETM reported. 

She has been fired, the officials said. 

The 14-year-old boy was not identified and it’s not clear if he was a student at the same BOCES school where Milazzo worked.

PDP suspends National Secretary Samuel Anyanwu and three others for one month

The National Working Committee (NWC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has suspended four senior national officers over alleged anti-party activities, according to an official statement released after an emergency meeting in Abuja on Saturday, November 1.   Those affected include the National Secretary, Senator Samuel Anyanwu; the National Organising Secretary, Hon. Umar Bature; the National Legal Adviser, Kamal Deen Ajibade (SAN); and the Deputy National Legal Adviser, Barr. Okechukwu Osuoha.   The party announced that the suspensions would last one month, pending further investigation by the National Disciplinary Committee. Cuba charges former Minister with espionage and some other crimes

Cuban prosecutors have formally charged former economy minister Alejandro Gil with espionage and a range of other serious offences, including bribery, embezzlement, tax evasion, and money laundering, the Attorney General’s Office announced on Friday evening.   Gil, 61, served as Minister of Economy and Planning from 2019 until February 2024, when he was abruptly removed from office.
